The Widecombe Sailing Club was formed early in 2015 to give Steve Knightley, front man of Show of Hands, an excuse to include our small but perfectly formed moorland village in his 'All at Sea' tour of coastal venues in early 2016.
The ploy worked better than we could have guessed and now we find ourselves with a beautiful, bouncing club, dedicated to bringing live music, good food and nautical puns to our part of Dartmoor.
